Isles, Hunter Agree On $10M, 5-Year Extension

AP - Trent Hunter signed a five-year, $10M contract extension with the Islanders on Friday, according to an Associated Press report.

Hunter will earn $2M per season through 2012-13. He is making $1.55M this season and was set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. The Islanders completed the deal ahead of Tuesday?s trade deadline. [READ]
