RealGM Staff Report - The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that it has activated forward Paul Stastny from the Injured Reserve list. He will be available to play in tonight's game against the Phoenix Coyotes.

Stastny has missed the past 15 games after having his appendix removed on Jan. 17. The injury also forced him to miss the 2008 NHL All-Star Game in Atlanta. The 22-year old was placed on the IR list Jan. 19 (retroactive to Jan. 17).

Stastny is the Avalanche's leading scorer this season with 49 points (17g/32a) in 46 games. [READ]
