Zednik: I Realized Injury Was To Artery

ESPN - Panthers' right wing Richard Zednik spoke at a news conference on Thursday night about the injury that nearly ended his life on the ice on Feb. 10, according to the Associated Press.

I felt like somebody stabbed me," Zednik said during the news conference. "I knew exactly what happened, and I knew exactly what I had to do. ... When I got to the bench, I knew it was an artery, the way the blood was going. I don't want to think about it, but I was in pretty bad shape." [READ]
