Avs Activate Cumiskey From IR

RealGM Staff Report - The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that it has activated defenseman Kyle Cumiskey from the Injured Reserve list. He will be available to play in tonight?s game against the Anaheim Ducks.

Cumiskey, 21, is returning to the Avalanche after missing the past 17 games due to a groin injury. He was placed on the IR list Jan. 31 (retroactive to Jan. 9). Colorado?s ninth selection (222nd overall) in the 2005 Entry Draft, Cumiskey has recorded five points (0g/5a) in 31 games for the Avalanche this season. [READ]
