Thrashers' Priority Is To Re-Sign Hossa

ESPN - Don Waddell, the Thrashers' general manager and head coach, says that the team's highest priority is to re-sign All-Star forward Marian Hossa, according to the Associated Press.

Hossa can become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, and Waddell admits that he has received several calls from teams regarding the forward.

"I'm best friends with a lot of guys in the league the last few weeks," Waddell said to the AP. "I've told them all I have not solicited or had an offer made. I told them I don't even want to get into that at this point. Our goal has been to sign him." [READ]
