Penguins' Crosby Begins Skating

Yahoo.com - Penguins' center Sidney Crosby began skating this week although the team has given no indication that his return will be pushed up, according to a Yahoo Sports report.

Crosby suffered a high-ankle sprain last month and is expected to be out until March. Crosby suffered the injury in a loss to the Lightning on January 18 when he slammed feet first into the end boards.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Crosby skated earlier this week at Mellon Arena while the team was on the road and did so again Wednesday before the team's practice. [READ]
