Atlanta Will Be Without Kovalchuk Against Philly

ESPN - The Atlanta Thrashers will be without Ilya Kovalchuk Tuesday when they host the visiting Philadelphia Flyers, according to ESPN.

Kovalchuk, who has a sore right knee, will miss his third straight game on Tuesday night.

"He's getting much better than he was before the weekend," Thrashers' Coach/GM Don Waddell told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I think our doctors would be more comfortable if [he didn't play]. I think he's out." [READ]
