Coyotes Recall Thomas From AHL San Antonio

RealGM Staff Report - Phoenix Coyotes' General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled right wing Bill Thomas from the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Thomas, 24, has recorded 15-16-31 and 28 penalty minutes (PIM) in 45 games with San Antonio this season. He has also played in five games for the Coyotes this season.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Thomas registered 8-6-14 and 2 PIM in 24 games for the Coyotes last season. He also appeared in 47 games for San Antonio, recording 13-20-33 and was selected to play in the AHL All-Star Game but unable to participate due to a call-up to Phoenix.

Thomas made his NHL debut on Mar. 28, 2006, after signing with the Coyotes as a free agent. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has collected 9-8-17 in 38 career NHL games. [READ]
