Maple Leafs Recall Ben Ondrus

RealGM Staff Report - The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Wednesday that forward Ben Ondrus has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. The Maple Leafs also announced that forward Chad Kilger did not accompany the team on their flight to Carolina today and will miss tomorrow night?s game due to personal reasons.

Ondrus, a 25-year-old native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, has played in all 44 of the Marlies games this season, collecting 14 points on eight goals and six assists, along with 55 minutes in penalties. Over the past two seasons, Ondrus has skated in 38 games for the Maple Leafs and has registered two assists and 38 penalty minutes. Ondrus was originally signed as a free agent on May 27, 2004.
