Leafs Recall Newbury From AHL Marlies

RealGM Staff Report - The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday that forward Kris Newbury has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

In 41 AHL games this season, Newbury ranks second on the Marlies with 35 points (14 goals, 21 assists) and 91 penalty minutes. During his first stint with the Maple Leafs this season, he played seven games and recorded seven penalty minutes. The Brampton, Ontario native was the San Jose Sharks fourth pick, 139th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. [READ]
