| 28th January, 2008 - 6:00 pm | RealGM Staff Report - The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Matt Moulson from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (AHL), Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Moulson, 24, has played in 14 games with the Kings this season and has five points (3-2=5) and two penalty minutes. When he was with the Monarchs, he played in 30 games this season and has 32 points (17-15=32,) and 15 penalty minutes. The 6-1, 210-pound Moulson, who was originally selected by Pittsburgh in the ninth-round (263rd overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, was signed by the Kings as an unrestricted free agent on September 1, 2006.
