Coyotes Recall Thomas From AHL San Antonio

RealGM Staff Report - Phoenix Coyotes' General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled right wing Bill Thomas from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

Thomas, 24, has recorded 13-12-25 and 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 38 games with San Antonio this season. He also played in four games for the Coyotes this season.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Thomas registered 8-6-14 and 2 PIM in 24 games for the Coyotes last season. He also appeared in 47 games for San Antonio, recording 13-20-33 and was selected to play in the AHL All-Star Game but was unable to participate due to a call-up to Phoenix.

Thomas made his NHL debut on Mar. 28, 2006, after signing with the Coyotes as a free agent. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has collected 9-8-17 in 37 career NHL games. [READ]
