Leafs Recall Pogge From AHL Marlies

RealGM Staff Report - The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Friday that goaltender Justin Pogge has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

Pogge appeared in 21 games for the Marlies this season, registering 13 wins, three losses, and two shutouts with a 2.27 goals against average and a .908 save percentage. The Marlies currently lead the AHL?s North Division with 54 points and a record of 25-7-0-4.

The Fort McMurray native was Toronto first choice, 90th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. His only career appearance with the Maple Leafs was a 3-2 overtime loss to the Edmonton Oilers on September 18 during the 2007 preseason. [READ]
