Red Wings Sign Osgood To 3-Year Extension

Yahoo.com - The Red Wings have signed goaltender Chris Osgood to a three-year contract extension.

Osgood is earning US$800,000 this season and was slated for unrestricted free agency July 1. His new deal will average close to $1.5 million a season, a source told The Canadian Press. The team was expected to make it official later Wednesday. [READ]
