Jackets Activate Vyborny Off IR

RealGM Staff Report - The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated right wing David Vyborny off injured reserve, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today. Vyborny, who has been sidelined since December 1 and missed the past seven games, is available to return to the lineup tonight when the Jackets host the Los Angeles Kings.

Vyborny, 32, has appeared in 26 games with the Blue Jackets this season and recorded two goals and eight assists for 10 points with eight penalty minutes. He collected his 300th career point in his 500th career game Nov. 24 vs. Detroit and has 108-193-301 with 202 penalty minutes in 503 career games, all with the Blue Jackets. He is the franchise?s all-time leader in assists, points and games played while ranking second in goals. [READ]
