Blue Jackets Send MacKenzie To AHL Syracuse

RealGM Staff Report - The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned center Derek MacKenzie to the Syracuse Crunch, Columbus? American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today.

MacKenzie has appeared in two games and recorded two penalty minutes this season with the Blue Jackets. He has recorded 12 goals and six assists for 18 points with 28 penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating in 30 games with the Crunch, ranking second on the club in goals and third (tied) in points.
