Blue Jackets Recall MacKenzie From AHL Syracuse

RealGM Staff Report - The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled center Derek MacKenzie from the Syracuse Crunch, Columbus? American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today. MacKenzie is expected to join the club and be available tonight when the Blue Jackets host the Calgary Flames.

MacKenzie made his Blue Jackets' debut last week and was scoreless vs. Anaheim on December 10. He has recorded 12 goals and six assists for 18 points with 28 penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating in 30 games this season with the Crunch, ranking second on the club in goals and third (tied) in points.
