Kings Activate Goalie LaBarbera From IR

RealGM Staff Report - The Los Angeles Kings have activated goaltender Jason LaBarbera from the injured reserve list and have assigned goaltender Jonathan Quick to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings' President/General Manager Dean Lombardi today announced.

LaBarbera, 27, has missed the last eight Kings games due to a rib injury. In 18 games with the Kings this season ? his second with the team ? the 6-3, 230-pound native of Burnaby, British Columbia, has a record of 6-9-1 with one shutout, a goals-against-average of 2.56 and a save-percentage of .916. LaBarbera, originally selected by the New York Rangers in the third-round (66th overall) in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, has a record of 18-20-3 with two shutouts, a goals-against-average of 2.90 and a save-percentage of .901 in 52 career NHL games with the Kings and the Rangers.
