| 16th December, 2007 - 1:24 am | RealGM Staff Report - The Los Angeles Kings have activated forward Alexander Frolov from the injured reserve list and placed goaltender Jason LaBarbera on the IR list (retroactive to December 1), Kings' President/General Manager Dean Lombardi today announced.
Frolov, 25, has missed the last 11 Kings games due to a groin injury. He has played in 21 games with the Kings this season ? his fifth with the team ? and he ranks fourth on the club with 20 points (4-16=20). The 6-2, 210-pound native of Moscow, Russia, who was selected by the Kings in the first-round (20th overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, has 224 points (98-126=224) in 328 career NHL games ? all with the Kings.
LaBarbera, 27, suffered a rib injury against Colorado on December 1. In 18 games with the Kings this season ? his second with the team ? the 6-3, 230-pound native of Burnaby, British Columbia, has a record of 6-9-1 with one shutout, a goals-against-average of 2.56 and a save-percentage of .916. In 52 career NHL games with the Kings and the New York Rangers, he has a record of 18-20-3 with two shutouts, a goals-against-average of 2.90 and a save-percentage of .901. [READ] |
