Blue Jackets Assign Methot To AHL Syracuse

RealGM Staff Report - The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned defenseman Marc Methot to the Syracuse Crunch, the club?s American Hockey League affiliate, Blue Jackets' General Manager Scott Howson announced today.

Methot, 22, has registered two goals and an assist with 32 penalty minutes in 20 games with the Crunch this season. He made his NHL debut last season on Feb. 25 vs. Nashville and played in 20 games for the Blue Jackets, recording 0-4-4 with 12 penalty minutes and a +5 plus/minus rating. In 149 career AHL games, he has tallied 5-27-32 with 165 penalty minutes. He did not appear in any games with the Blue Jackets after being recalled on November 28. [READ]
