Rangers Send Baranka To AHL Hartford

RealGM Staff Report - New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that defenseman Ivan Baranka has been reassigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Baranka, 22, has registered one assist and a plus-one rating in one game with the Rangers this season, making his NHL debut on Wednesday, November 21 at Tampa Bay. The 6-3, 205 pound defenseman has appeared in 17 games with Hartford (AHL) this season, collecting two goals and five assists for seven points, along with 16 penalty minutes and a plus-six rating. In his third season with the Wolf Pack, the Ilava, Slovakia native has recorded 10 goals and 41 assists for 51 points, along with 153 penalty minutes in 130 AHL contests. [READ]
