High-Priced Rangers' Offense Struggling

Yahoo.com - In the offseason, the Rangers loaded up for a run at the Stanley Cup with two of the biggest free-agent acquisitions in Chris Drury and Scott Gomez.

The Rangers spent more than $86 million to sign Drury and Gomez to multi-year contracts. They joined a star-studded cast that included Jaromir Jagr and Brendan Shanahan.

New York was supposed to feature a high-powered offense and was seen as Stanley Cup contenders in many circles.

While it's far too early to panic - the season is only three weeks old - so far, the "Blueshirts" have been the league's biggest disappointment out of the gate. [READ]
