Sabres Lock-Up Hecht Through 2011-12

Yahoo.com - The Sabres on Tuesday agreed to terms with center Jochen Hecht on a four-year contract extension.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but TSN of Canada reported that the deal is worth $14.1 million. Hecht is scheduled to make $2.35 million this season.

The extension will keep Hecht, 30, in Buffalo through the 2011-12 campaign. [READ]
