Blue Jackets Activate Michael Peca From IR

RealGM Staff Report - The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated center Michael Peca off Injured Reserve, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today. Peca is expected to make his Blue Jackets' debut tonight when the club hosts the Phoenix Coyotes.

Peca, who was signed by Columbus as a free agent on August 23, had been sidelined with a groin strain. Last season he tallied four goals and 11 assists for 15 points with 60 penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating in 35 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs. [READ]
