Cole Scores In OT To Give Hurricanes Win Over Caps

Yahoo.com - Erik Cole scored with 47.2 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Hurricanes a 4-3 victory over the Capitals on Sunday in the preseason opener for both teams.

Cole's second goal of the game came with the Hurricanes holding a two-man advantage. Eric Staal's shot from the slot tipped off Cole's stick and sailed past goalie Michal Neuvirth.

Justin Williams and Noah Babin also scored for Carolina. [READ]
