Nichol, Ortmeyer Lead Predators Past Blue Jackets In Preseason Game

Yahoo.com - Scott Nichol and Jed Ortmeyer scored while killing a 5-minute power play, leading the Predators past the Blue Jackets 3-1 in a preseason game on Sunday night.

Both teams opened camp on Friday, so few frontline players saw much action in the first preseason game. Nashville offseason acquisitions Radek Bonk, Greg de Vries and Martin Gelinas all took the night off along with veterans Jason Arnott, Jordin Tootoo, Steve Sullivan, J.P.
