Columbus Suspends Alexander Svitov

RealGM Staff Report - The Columbus Blue Jackets have suspended center Alexander Svitov for failing to report to training camp, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today.

Svitov informed the team in August of his decision to play for Avangard Omsk of the Russian Super League during the 2007-08 season. He signed a two-year contract with Columbus on July 2, 2007. [READ]
