Petiot Re-Signs With Los Angeles

RealGM Staff Report - The Los Angeles Kings have signed restricted free agent defenseman Richard Petiot to a one-year contract, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Petiot, 25, had two points (1-1=2) and 25 penalty minutes in 13 regular season games with the Manchester Monarchs, the Kings? American Hockey League affiliate, this past season. The 6-3, 200-pound native of Daysland, Alberta, who suffered an injury at the Kings? Rookie Tournament prior to the start of training camp last season, also had zero points and two penalty minutes in two postseason games with the Monarchs. [READ]
