 Yahoo.com - The Capitals have re-signed defenceman John Erskine to a US$1.75-million, two-year contract.
He will earn $525,000 this season and $550,000 in 2008-09. Erskine, 27, had seven points (1-6), a minus-13 rating and 69 penalty minutes in 29 games for the Capitals last season.
