31st July, 2007 - 11:02 am
Buffalo News - The Buffalo Sabres and defenseman Nathan Paetsch agreed today to terms on a three-year contract that will be signed Tuesday, The Buffalo News has learned. Financial details on the one-way contract were undisclosed.

"I'm super thrilled they wanted to keep me around here for a long time," Paetsch told The News. "I'm really excited about that. I'm excited to start playing now."

The agreement possibly rounds out the Sabres' roster for the upcoming season as they have seven defensemen, 19 forwards and two goalies.

Paetsch was the last remaining unsigned Sabre from last season. He had an arbitration hearing set for Thursday, but that's no longer necessary. [READ]
