Buffalo Agrees To Terms With Numminen

Yahoo.com - The Sabres on Wednesday agreed to terms with defenseman Teppo Numminen on a one-year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Sabres have already lost three of their top players in free agency this offseason. Last season's point-leader Daniel Briere went to the Flyers, the Rangers signed center Chris Drury and right wing Dainius Zubrus departed for the Devils.

Numminen, 39, finished his 2006-07 campaign with two goals and 29 points in 79 games and added four assists in 16 postseason contests. [READ]
