The Ducks announced today that the club has signed goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov to a one-year contract through the 2014-15 NHL season. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bryzgalov, 34, returns to the Ducks organization where he began his NHL career in 2001-02 and was a member of the 2007 Stanley Cup championship team. Bryzgalov has appeared in 69 career games for the Ducks, posting a 26-23-8 record with two shutouts, a 2.48 goals-against average (GAA) and a .909 save percentage (SV%). 
 
Selected by Anaheim in the second round (44th overall) of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Bryzgalov has played for Anaheim, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Edmonton and Minnesota over his 11-year NHL career.
