Sabres' Gaustad Might Return Within A Month

AP - Sabres center Paul Gaustad is recovering from a sliced tendon in his lower left leg and might return to the team within a month.

Coach Lindy Ruff said Gaustad could start practicing in a week. Gaustad was hurt Feb. 7 against Ottawa. He had surgery and had not been expected to return even if the top-seeded Sabres made a deep playoff run.

"He's doing really well," Ruff said after practice Friday. [READ]
