The Ducks announced today that the club has signed left wing Nicolas Kerdiles to a three-year entry-level contract.

Kerdiles, 20, ranked fifth in the nation in points-per-game (1.36) and tied for 11th in assists-per-game (0.82) this season. Kerdiles collected 38 points with 33 penalty minutes in 28 games with Wisconsin (Big Ten), ranking third among conference skaters in scoring and goals, and second in assists. A 2013-14 Second-Team All-Star, Kerdiles helped lead Wisconsin to the Big Ten title with three points in the championship game, including an assist on the game-winning goal in overtime vs. Ohio State on Mar. 22.

A native of Irvine, CA, Kerdiles became the first Ducks draft selection who was raised in Orange County (raised in Irvine, born in Lewisville, TX) when he was chosen in the second round (36th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
