The Kings have acquired forward Andrew Crescenzi from the Maple Leafs in exchange for forward Brandon Kozun, Kings President/GM Deam Lombardi announced today.  Crescenzi will report to the AHL’s Manchester Monarchs.

Crescenzi, 20, has two points and 33 penalty minutes in 32 games this season with the Maple Leafs’ AHL affiliate the Toronto Marlies.  Crescenzi has played parts of the last three seasons with the Marlies, turning pro in 2010-11.  He was signed by the Maple Leafs as a free agent on Sept. 24, 2010.

Kozun was originally drafted by the Kings in the sixth-round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.  He has seen action with the Manchester Monarchs in each of the past four seasons, including 43 games with that club this year.
