Kings Send Gauthier To Manchester Of The AHL

Press Release - The Los Angeles Kings have assigned center Gabe Gauthier to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Gauthier, 23, has played in five games for the Kings this season and has zero points and two penalty minutes. In 57 games with the Monarchs this season, the 5-9, 200-pound native of Torrance has 32 points (13-19=32) and 44 penalty minutes.

Initially recalled by the Kings from Manchester on March 10 under emergency conditions, Gauthier made his Kings/NHL debut on March 11 at Dallas and he became the second player born in California to ever play for the Kings (forward Noah Clarke was born in La Verne). [READ]
