Sharks' Wilson Will Coach 1,000th Game At Colorado Sunday

Yahoo.com - The Sharks' big guns are heating up, and that is bad news for division and conference opponents.

The Sharks shoot for their sixth win in seven games Friday when they host the Blue Jackets.

San Jose has 89 points and is tied with Dallas for second in the Pacific Division, seven points behind Anaheim. The Sharks defeated Phoenix, 5-1, on Thursday for their fifth victory in their last six games.

San Jose Ron Wilson will coach his 999th career game on Friday. He will become just the 13th coach in NHL history to coach 1,000 games when the Sharks play at Colorado on Sunday. [READ]
