The Ducks announced today that the club has acquired a second-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft from Islanders in exchange for defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky. Visnovsky, 35, appeared in 68 games with the Ducks last season, scoring 27 points and 47 penalty minutes. Acquired from Edmonton in exchange for Ryan Whitney and a sixth-round selection in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft on Mar. 3, 2010. Selected by Los Angeles in the fourth round (118th overall) of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Visnovsky has played for the Kings (2000-08), Edmonton Oilers (2008-10) and Ducks (2010-12) during his 11-year NHL career.
