The Lightning have re-signed forward Mike Angelidis to a one-year, two-way contract, Vice President and GM Steve Yzerman announced today.
Angelidis, 26, played in six games with the Lightning last season, recording one goal and five penalty minutes. The forward scored his first career goal in his NHL debut with the Lightning on January 24 versus the Blue Jackets.
The Woodbridge, Ontario native also played in 54 games with the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL this past season, posting 14 goals and 27 points to go along with 135 penalty minutes.
Angelidis has played in 369 career AHL games with Norfolk and the Albany River Rats, collecting 76 goals and 150 points, to go along with 760 penalty minutes.
