| 28th February, 2007 - 8:22 pm |  Press Release - The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Shay Stephenson (under emergency conditions) from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Stephenson, 23, has 14 points (7-7=14), one power play goal, 51 penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating in 40 games with the Monarchs this season. The 6-4, 200-pound native of Outlook, Saskatchewan, was selected by Carolina in the seventh-round (198th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and was originally selected by Edmonton in the ninth-round (278th overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Stephenson, who has not played in the NHL, will wear jersey No. 22 with the Kings. [READ] |
