After November, the Bruins and Red Wings were first and second respectively, but at the All-Star break it was flip-flopped with Detroit first and Boston second.

While Boston jumped 19 spots to the top slot, the Rangers have moved up 20 slots to eighth. The Capitals, meanwhile, fell 15 spots.

Some teams dubbed as contenders have started real slow, particularly the defending champs in Boston (3-7-0). On the other end of the spectrum are the teams who had the top two picks in the draft last year, Edmonton (7-2-2) and Colorado (7-4).
Final 2010-11 NHL Regular Season Power Rankings
To no one’s surprise the Vancouver Canucks held onto their top spot as they ran away with the Presidents’ Trophy with 117 points, 10 more than the next closest team (Washington).
