Thankfully, the hockey world can stop wondering when Sidney Crosby will return. Instead, we can now focus on his assault on the league scoring charts, and also up the OCPR leaderboard.

Is it inevitable? How long will it take? Truthfully, there is no way he can keep up his current pace. His per game OCPR average is at an astounding 11.279, which is well ahead of second place Evgeni Malkin (6.757).

The October leader at the forward position, Phil Kessel, dropped to third place, as Chicago forwards (and OCPR staples) Jonathan Toews and Patrick Sharp have leaped ahead of him. On a per-game basis, only Crosby, Malkin and Claude Giroux have put up better numbers than Toews, while Sharp sits 9th and Kessel 12th in that regard.

Defensively, the rise of the Boston Bruins (no regulation losses in November) coincided with the rise of Zdeno Chara, who has burst from #46 to first place. The previous #1 Dion Phaneuf is still in the top-10, sitting in 9th, while Shea Weber and Kris Letang are on the heels of Chara. On a per-game basis, Chris Pronger just edges out Letang and Chara, but with his injury problems he will not be challenging the overall leaderboard.

There is a new leader among goalies as well, as Jimmy Howard and his 1.87 GAA sit on top of a tight race. Behind him is the surprising Mike Smith, while Marc-Andre Fleury keeps his 3rd spot from last month; Jonathan Quick, the October leader, dropped to fourth. Steve Mason was worst among goalies with at least eight games played (43rd).

All stats are as of November 30, 2011; all ranking totals are derived using the unique OCPR formulas.
