Reports: Jaromir Jagr Has New Deal With Devils

According to multiple reports, Jaromir Jagr has an agreement in place to return to the Devils for next season.

The contract is reportedly a one-year deal worth between $5 million and $6 million, according to an ESPN.com report on Tuesday.

The Panthers have parted ways with interim coach Peter Horachek, according to an ESPN.com report.

Panthers GM Dale Tallon made the announcement Tuesday, saying the dismissal was effective immediately. Horachek replaced Kevin Dineen as Panthers' coach on Nov. 8, and Florida went 26-36-4 under him.

Jim Rutherford stepped down as general manager of the Hurricanes on Monday, and the team promoted Ron Francis to replace him.

In a series of moves, the Hurricanes also hired Mike Vellucci as assistant GM and director of hockey operations and promoted Brian Tatum to assistant general manager.

Rutherford, who also owns part of the team, will remain in an advisory role as team president.
