Philadelphia Flyers (1967-Present) Before the extended success of the Red Wings was that of the Oilers; before the dynasty in Edmonton was the dynasty on Long Island; and before the Islanders there was the Broad Street Bullies in Philadelphia. Between 1973 and 1987 the Flyers won two Stanley Cups (1974 & 1975), lost in the Stanley Cup Finals on four other occasions, and won 10 division titles. Since 1987 they have lost two more Cup Finals’ and won six more division titles, but there remains a title drought. W: Brian Propp (79-90): 3rd in all categories (369-480-849 in 790 games), +311, 103 power play goals; 112 points in 116 playoff games; 5-time All-Star. D: Mark Howe (82-92): Leads all defensemen offensively (138-342-480, +349) in only 594 games, 24 short handed goals; 53 points in 82 playoff games; 4-time All-Star; Hall of Famer. D: Eric Desjardins (95-2006): 2nd in all categories (738 games, 93-303-396), +143; 51 points in 97 playoff games; 2-time All-Star; Team Captain 2000-01. G: Bernie Parent (67-71, 73-79): 1st in shutouts (50), 2nd in games (486), wins (232), GAA (2.42); 35-28 with 2.38 GAA in the playoffs; 5-time All-Star; 2-time Vezina Trophy winner & Conn Smythe winner; 2-time Stanley Cup winner; Hall of Famer. Second Team C: Eric Lindros (92-2000): 659 points, +188 in only 486 games; 57 points in 50 playoff games; 6-time All-Star; 1995 MVP & Ted Lindsay winner; four time 40-goal scorer; Team Captain 94-2000. W: Tim Kerr (80-91): 4th in goals (363), 6th in points (650) in 601 games, 1st in power play goals (145); 70 points in 73 playoff games; 3-time All-Star; four straight 50-goal seasons. W: John Leclair (95-2004): 333-310-643 in 649 games, +197, most game winning goals (61); 74 points in 116 playoff games; 5-time All-Star; three straight 50-goal seasons. D: Jimmy Watson (72-82): 2nd in plus/minus (+295), 186 points in 613 games; 5-time All-Star; 2-time Stanley Cup winner. D: Bob Dailey (77-82): 194 points, +124 in 304 games; 3rd in playoff points (40 in 56 games); 2-time All-Star. G: Ron Hextall (86-92, 94-99): Most games (489) and wins (240), 18 shutouts, 2.91 GAA, .895 SV%; 45-36 with 2.95 GAA in the playoffs; 1988 All-Star; 1987 Conn Smythe & Vezina Trophy winner. Third Team C: Richard MacLeish (70-81, 83-84): 4th in points (697, in 741 games), +181; 105 points in 108 playoff games; 3-time All-Star; 2-time Stanley Cup winner. W: Reggie Leach (74-82): 306 goals in 606 games, +212; 47 goals in 91 playoff games; 2-time All-Star; 1976 Conn Smythe winner; 1975 Stanley Cup winner; scored 61 goals in 1975-76. G: Roman Cechmanek (2000-03): Tied-4th in wins (92-43-30), 1st in GAA (1.96) and SV% (.923), 2nd in shutouts (20); 2001 All-Star; 2003 Jennings Trophy winner. Coaches Fred Shero (71-78): 308-151-95 regular season record, 48-35 playoff record; 2-time Stanley Cup winner, two Stanley Cup losses; 1974 Jack Adams winner.
