New Jersey Devils (1982-Present)/Colorado Rockies (1976-82)/Kansas City Scouts (1974-86) Thanks in no small part to Martin Brodeur, the most accomplished goaltender in NHL history, New Jersey has had a great amount of success over the past two decades, including three Stanley Cup Championships (1995, 2000, 2003) and one additional Conference Championship (2001). The formula for all of their success was Brodeur and the defense in front of him, anchored by Hall of Famer Scott Stevens, and future Hall of Famer Scott Niedermayer. D: Scott Stevens (91-2004): 2nd most games (956) and points (430) by a defenseman, +282, 1,007 PIM; 10-time All-Star; 2000 Conn Smythe winner; 3-time Stanley Cup winner; Hall of Famer; Team Captain 92-2004. D: Scott Niedermayer (91-2004): Most points by a defenseman (476 in 892 games), +172, eight OT goals; 3-time All-Star; 2004 Norris Trophy winner; 3-time Stanley Cup winner; Team Captain 2004. Second Team C: Bobby Holik (92-2002, 08-09): 4th most points (472 in 786 games), +134, 57 points in 124 playoff games; six 20-goal seasons; 2-time All-Star; 2-time Stanley Cup winner. W: Jamie Langenbrunner (2002-11): 385 points, +33 in 564 games, 50 points in 68 playoff games; three years with 60+ points; 2003 Stanley Cup winner; Team Captain 2007-11 W: Zach Parise (2005-11): 5th most goals (165), 343 points, +63 in 422 games; four straight 30-goal seasons; 2009 All-Star; Team Captain 2011.
