In the sixth of a series of 30 articles, we will go through the history of every NHL franchise alphabetically and select an All-Time Roster for each. Carolina Hurricanes (1997-Present)/Hartford Whalers (1979-1997) Life as a Hartford Whalers fan must have been very trying; the team amassed an NHL record of 534-709-177, getting outscored by 641 goals in 18 seasons.
